A Captain of the Bureau of Immigration and Naturalization instantly died and several other passengers were injured Tuesday in a tragic motor accident on the Zwedru-Toe Town highway.
Captain Paylen’s body was deposited at the United Methodist Hospital in Zwedru, while another BIN officer identified as Amos Okai who received multiple fractures, is still admitted at the same hospital.
The officers were returning to Monrovia from River Gee County where they have been assigned with the border patrol unit of the BIN.
Passengers Fatumata Keita and Mama Kromah, who sustained minor injuries, have been discharged from the United Methodist hospital in Zdedru.
Meanwhile, police say have charged the operator of the vehicle with license plate #PC- 20119 involved in the accident, Ansu Konneh, with reckless driving and sent him to the Zwedru Magisterial Court for trial. - Augustus Zeon.
