Persistent Armed Robber Turned Professional State Witness
A professional Nigerian criminal Simeon Uche alias Ike who boasts that he has “no regrets for robbing people because the justice system is under his feet” will stand trial for the third time with two others for armed robbery at Criminal Court ‘D’.
Since they were arrested in 2011 for armed robbing several residents in Barnesville, Simeon Uche, along with George Jallah Wade and Daniel Vaye appeared in court last Friday with all court officers and judges shocked over his return.
Simeon Uche along with George Jallah Wade and Daniel Vaye have been in jailed since 2010 before they were indicted in November 2011 for armed robbing several residents in Barnesville.
They are scheduled to appear in court today where their indictment will be read to them in order to set the stage for their trial at Criminal Court “D” at the Temple of Justice.
Because the Nigerian professional armed robber always appears innocent of his crime, he is often used as professional state witness to indict his colleagues.
During his arrest in 2010 when he stoop with ass to journalists while en route to prison, the suspect shouted: “I have no regrets for armed robbing people, and armed robbery da my area. I will not die in jail because I know how I can beat the justice system here. I may likely be a state witness in order to make it easy for the state. If not, my mother will seek my release soon. So I’m not worried over my detention,” Simeon Uche boasted.
One Correction Office believes the action of this notorious Nigerian criminal is due to his apparent influence within the justice system, which makes him safer as a professional state witness against his colleagues.
“He boasts of being a professional criminal among all criminals here. But if he survives this time around then, I know he has the system in his hands,” the correction officer said Friday.
