Police authorities have affirmed arresting civilians Arthur Wolo, 29, and Amos Payne, 41, for impersonating as police officers in Monrovia and Buchanan, respectively.
Police spokesperson George Bardue said suspect Amos Payne was picked-up with a set of police uniforms, a badge and handcuffs in Buchanan while Arthur Wolo was arrested in West Point with similar police properties.
Both fake police officers are undergoing security investigation at the police headquarters, he said.
“The police will go after those who are impersonating as officers and deal with them in keeping with law,” Bardue warned.
